Clearly, you guys are underestimating the power of this photo. The white bread represents conformity. See how the bread fits perfectly between the window and the ledge? The bread is portrayed as being compressed, squashed—controlled by its surroundings. Furthermore, the bread is facing out a window. This represents the individual longing and desires that are repressed in the slices’ attempt to conform. The glass represents society’s role in our current mindset: a mental block which represses our individuality and personal desires. HAHAHAHAHHA. photography at its worst

I have a toast photoshoot in mind that I haven’t had the time to do. Really.
